Feature Requests

Please add an option for learners to provide feedback directly to the creator on a video or course. A semi-private feedback option would be helpful. Additionally, having all feedback displayed in a centralised dashboard window would make it easier for creators to review and act on.

Ability to detect content that is older than 2–3 months and automatically notify the creator to review and update it.

We need an option to create task types that do not require manager review, in addition to the existing manager-reviewed tasks. This will help streamline workflows where review is unnecessary.

it would be great if the bullets that refer to steps in the video could be turned into links similar to chapters, so the user could jump from the summary text straight into the step in the video.

TRAINN choses its own thumbnail. To replace it, I have to create a separate image, save it, then upload it again. Would be great to have the ability to choose any clip and generate the thumbnail from there. Another time saver.

Users have requested to add slide transitions like fade in/out.

Introduce the ability to link cloned videos to their original source in a parent-child structure. When enabled, any edits made to the source (parent) video should automatically sync and reflect in all its cloned (child) versions. This will help teams maintain consistent content across multiple versions without manually updating each one.

We need a proper versioning system for videos. Each edited version should be saved with a timestamp and the user ID. Currently, the only option is to discard the latest changes, but it’s hidden and not easily discoverable. A structured version history will make collaboration and editing much more reliable.

At the moment, learning path controls apply only to courses listed on the Academy page. Adding support for structured learning paths within assignment mode would greatly improve the learner experience.

Provide a review link for courses, that can be shared with users individually. Show a section in analytics dashboard with course reviews and ratings. (can be considered for videos as well)
